About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PR Manager to join our team at eBay, focusing on the automotive parts and accessories category in Germany. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing proactive comms campaigns that support eBay's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated PR programmes to drive storytelling campaigns across our automotive vertical
  • Own the strategy and drive communications counsel to internal partners, including cross-functional working groups for vertical-specific go-to-market plans
  • Manage budgets, multiple work-streams, and agency teams to deliver high-profile campaigns
  • Foster strong media relationships with automotive media to build eBay's commercial and brand reputation across trade and customer stakeholder groups
Requirements
  • Approx. 8 years of experience in PR, with a proven track record in the automotive sector
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Natural flair for news and social trends, with impeccable judgement, presentation, and communications skills
  • Understanding of the German automotive media landscape and established relationships
  • Experience in delivering campaigns that engage the enthusiast automotive community
