Overview

We are seeking a skilled "Technologist PCA Manufacturing / Surface Mount Technology (m/f/d)" to enhance our PCA manufacturing technology team at our Ulm facility. The Production Technologies department is dedicated to the development, optimization, and qualification of production processes, providing essential technological support for HENSOLDT's operations in Ulm. The PCA Manufacturing Technology team is specifically focused on enhancing our electronics assembly line, optimizing manufacturing processes, and defining equipment and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes within the SMD production line, including solder paste application, various soldering techniques (convection, selective, vapor phase), solder-free connection technology, automatic inspection processes, and cleaning procedures.
• Assist the production area in analyzing and evaluating deviations.
• Provide technological support for purchasing in supplier management.
• Plan and execute investment projects related to electronics assembly.
• Consult with various stakeholders from development, technology, and production on manufacturing and material-related matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics, micro systems technology, manufacturing technology, or a related field (Bachelor / Master, Dipl-Ing. or equivalent).
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in surface mount technology and PCA manufacturing.
• Several years of experience in a PCA manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Willingness to travel for business within Europe.
• Fluency in English and German at a negotiation level.
