About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Materna Information & Communications SE. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our customers in building and maintaining their monitoring platforms in their DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to analyze their requirements for building a monitoring platform in their DevOps environments.
- Develop solution concepts based on customer requirements for the deployment of a monitoring solution in their IT landscape.
- Implement and configure monitoring at our customers' sites and serve as the interface between the functional departments and the IT operations for new monitoring requirements.
- Automatically deploy new monitoring signatures into production and ensure the safe operation of business applications with the IT operations.
- Support colleagues through mutual experience exchange and further training to always be able to keep pace with current developments.
Requirements
- A completed (business) informatics degree or a completed training as a systems integration specialist with professional experience in the mentioned task area.
- Experience with Prometheus, Ansible, and common scripting languages.
- Knowledge of Big Data tools such as the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk is desirable.
- A safe handling in RHEL environments as well as knowledge of APM like AppDynamics or Dynatrace.
- Business travel within a reasonable scope.
- Very good German (C1) and good English skills (B2) in writing and speaking.
