Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Senior Legal Counsel, der sich auf die Regulierung des Energiemarktes spezialisiert hat. Als Teil unseres International Law & Global Trading Teams in Düsseldorf werden Sie eine wichtige Rolle bei der Umsetzung unserer Strategie spielen.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Beratung des globalen Energiegeschäfts von Uniper im Hinblick auf die nationale und europäische Regulierung
  • Aktive Überprüfung von physischen und finanziellen Rohstofftransaktionen für die Einhaltung von Vorschriften
  • Unterstützung bei und/oder Leitung von internen Untersuchungen und Antworten auf interne und externe Anfragen
  • Deine Rolle bei der kontinuierlichen Umsetzung der Anforderungen der Energiemarkt- und Finanzregulierung
  • Erstellung und Präsentation von Präsenz- und Online-Schulungen für Mitarbeiter im Front Office und im Support
  • Koordination mit Mitgliedern des Legal & Compliance-Teams und allen relevanten Interessenvertretern (z.B. Business, Risk, Audit) bei der Lösung von täglichen Compliance-Problemen im Handel
  • Unterstützung bei speziellen Projekten nach Bedarf

Dein Profil

  • Ausgeprägter akademischer Hintergrund in Rechtswissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt auf regulatorischen Themen oder ein anderer vergleichbarer Abschluss
  • Mindestens 10 Jahre Erfahrung in der Beratung zu Fragen der nationalen und europäischen Regulierung, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit einem oder mehreren der folgenden Rohstoffe: Strom, Erdgas, Kohle, Öl, Fracht, Emissionen, Eisenerz und/oder LNG
  • Spezifische Erfahrung mit REMIT, MiFID II, EMIR, MAR, SFTR erforderlich
  • Ausgeprägte Detailgenauigkeit, analytische Fähigkeiten, Urteilsvermögen, Begeisterung und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten
  • Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
  • Fähigkeit, mehrere Initiativen gleichzeitig in einem dynamischen, schnelllebigen, globalen Umfeld zu verwalten
  • Fähigkeit, die Führung zu übernehmen und unabhängig an allen Aufgaben innerhalb der Stellenbeschreibung zu arbeiten
  • Fähigkeit zur Interaktion mit allen Managementebenen
  • Ausgezeichnete Beherrschung der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift erforderlich, Deutschkenntnisse sind wünschenswert
