Senior HR Manager for Country Affairs

Position Overview: The Country Human Resources (HR) Manager plays a crucial role within the INNIO organization, responsible for the comprehensive management of all HR functions in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the execution of HR operations, policies, and procedures in alignment with INNIO's standards and industry best practices.
  • Manage various facets of HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance evaluation, training and development, compensation and benefits, and adherence to legal regulations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries, offering support and guidance to both management and staff.
  • Play a significant role in the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that support INNIO's overarching business objectives.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Leading the HR agenda at the national level, focusing on employee relations, engagement, organizational structure, communication, career development, investigations, staffing, and compensation.
  • Collaborating with local and functional leadership on all HR matters within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for HR inquiries from employees and managers, in conjunction with external service providers.
  • Managing employee relations within the country, working alongside the works council to effectively implement INNIO's HR strategy while complying with local employment laws and collective agreements.
  • Assisting management in fostering a high-performance work culture to enhance both individual and team capabilities.
  • Executing global HR initiatives and participating in international HR projects.
  • Providing administrative support to local managers and employees regarding HR processes, systems, and policies.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity in relevant management systems.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive experience as a Human Resource Manager, with proven expertise in key areas such as development, performance management, change management, communication, and staffing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of influencing various levels within the organization and navigating multicultural environments.
  • Proactive in taking initiative and following through on assigned projects, while also valuing teamwork.
  • A collaborative team player willing to work closely with a global HR team on projects and eager to share insights and best practices.
