Cyber Security Design Associate

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Design Associate to join our Defensive Architecture team in Product Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end security architectures for the SAP enterprise and SAP products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide security architectural guidance and professional advice to internal parties with a focus on Compute & Workplace security.
- Assist in strategic topics, including preparation of presentation and management documents.
- Define, manage, and derive IT security requirements and security reference architectures.
- Provide support, advice, and services in the planning and coordination processes within and beyond the SGSC Defensive Architecture Design Team.
- Coordinate and execute unit-projects, cross-unit-projects, and special tasks in cooperation with other security areas.
Requirements:
- Computer Science Expert Subject Area: System Integration or comparable education.
- Good knowledge in IT Security / Cyber Security.
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022, Apple MacOS, Linux/Unix operating system distributions, and Apple iOS and Google Android.
- Basic Knowledge of industry good practice related to operating system hardening standards.
- Basic Knowledge of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intunes, and Jamf PRO/PROTECT.
- Result orientation and execution focus.
- Proactive behavior, quick learner, passionate, motivated, and self-managed.
- Strong communication and presentation skills both written and spoken in German and English.
About the Team:
The Defensive Architecture Team within the SAP Global Security Cybersecurity Defense and Design organization manages the SAP Cybersecurity Architecture Framework, maintains security hardening specifications, and provides Cyber Security architecture consulting and advisory services to deliver secure cloud services to our customers.
