Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Global Category Management Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on strategic and operational tasks in a global environment, supporting our Category Purchasing team.
Responsibilities
- Support Category Purchasing in strategic and operational tasks, including contract management, raw material price data maintenance, and negotiation preparation with suppliers.
- Participate in strategic supplier meetings and contribute to the development of purchasing strategies.
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the maintenance of raw material price data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Contribute to the development of purchasing reports and analyses, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree student in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Strong motivation, desire to work in a team, and willingness to take on joint responsibility.
- Result-oriented work style and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Interest in the subject of automobiles and willingness to learn about the industry.
- Confident handling of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP, with a willingness to learn new software tools.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
