Construction Engineering Specialist

Position Title: Construction Engineering Specialist

  • Facilitation and representation of the interests of property owners, investors, and contractors
  • Creation of preliminary planning concepts while considering budgetary and timeline constraints
  • Oversight of external service providers (specialized engineers, consultants, construction firms)
  • Engagement and coordination of project meetings, working groups, and internal strategy sessions
  • Leadership of the project team (external partners) with an emphasis on achieving project-specific goals
  • Project oversight to ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards in cooperation with various departments (Building Code, State Building Regulations, Federal Emission Control Act, Procurement Regulations, Safety, Accident Prevention, and Environmental Standards)
  • Preparation for and participation in regulatory audits
  • Management of inquiries from property owners and investors, public requests, defect notifications, complaints, and issues in collaboration with other departments
  • Involvement in training sessions and specialized conferences

Your Profile

  • Successful completion of a degree (Diploma Engineer or Bachelor/Master), preferably in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Preferably, prior experience in project management for construction projects
  • Essential knowledge of VOB and HOAI regulations
  • Proven reliability along with strong negotiation and assertiveness skills
  • Willingness to assume responsibility, analytical mindset, strong teamwork and conflict resolution abilities, and customer-focused approach
  • Possession of a Class B driver's license, a requirement for this role
