Job Description

SMS group is a leading technology company in the metal industry, providing innovative solutions and services worldwide. Our team of over 150 years of experience and digital expertise enables us to continuously innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible.

We are looking for a skilled Application Developer to join our team in Düsseldorf or Mönchengladbach. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications and interfaces for Creo, PDMLink, Inventor, and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications and interfaces for Creo, PDMLink, Inventor, and AutoCAD
  • Continuously improve and expand the DMU process, methods, and systems
  • Provide expert advice and support to CoEs and SMS societies on CAD-related matters
  • Maintain and update CAD systems
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for CAD
Requirements
  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD systems (Creo, AutoCAD, Inventor)
  • Good programming skills in C#, C++, SQL, and Creo TOOLKIT
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good English language skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and systematic approach
  • Team player with ability to work under pressure
