About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Carbmee GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial day-to-day operations, including monthly accounting, invoicing, financial statements, and cash flow management.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining the existing rolling budget and forecast, performing financial analysis, and extracting actionable insights to support our Co-founders and the Management team in decision-making with accurate data.

You will also be responsible for preparing the annual budget, owning internal finance & performance reporting processes, and maintaining investor-facing financial models to ensure Carbmee's financial stability and success.

In addition, you will perform ad hoc strategic projects and analyses, support the execution of fundraising, and provide general financial information requests for investors and internal stakeholders.

As a Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to build, improve, and expand processes for all teams within the company, working closely with different internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial day-to-day operations, including monthly accounting, invoicing, financial statements, and cash flow management
  • Maintain the existing rolling budget and forecast, perform financial analysis, and extract actionable insights
  • Prepare the annual budget, own internal finance & performance reporting processes, and maintain investor-facing financial models
  • Perform ad hoc strategic projects and analyses, support the execution of fundraising, and provide general financial information requests
  • Build, improve, and expand processes for all teams within the company
Requirements
  • Extensive and successful experience working in a finance, controlling, and accounting role
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Solid accounting and controlling knowledge combined with a deep understanding of the strategic financial levers that drive a SaaS tech business
  • Experience in building and managing financial models, forecasts, cash flow, and budgets
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English skills are required, German language knowledge is a strong plus
