About the Role

We are seeking an analytical and proactive Category Manager to join our dynamic Category and Purchasing team at Flaconi GmbH. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the largest category - Fragrances - from a strategic perspective within the online beauty business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the commercial category performance and oversee all user touch points within the fragrance category.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive financial success on both the top and bottom line.
  • Utilize market data to evaluate opportunities to enhance the assortment, including seasonal items, limited editions, and brand onboarding.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in pricing, campaign, retail media, and supply chain to ensure the attractiveness, availability, and financial performance of the category.
  • Provide category-specific knowledge to optimize navigation, category pages, filters, and product detail pages.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing a commercial category in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, preferably in the beauty or lifestyle sector.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and their impact on business performance.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day operations, including assortment and inventory management.
  • Proven track record of streamlining processes and procedures.
  • Mindset focused on driving financial success and achieving KPIs.
  • Proactive and strong communication skills, with the ability to build a network and collaborate with various stakeholders.
