Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller / Accountant Planning Forecast HGB IFRS to join our team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our Group Finance-Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing plan and forecast figures in accordance with commercial law and international accounting practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze plan and forecast figures in accordance with commercial law and international accounting practice
- Process financial statement items and support the annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Attend to the reconciliation and analysis of accounting processes according to IFRS, especially in the area of cost allocation
- Support an international Branch for HGB closing purposes
- Participate in projects, such as SAP projects
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or mathematics, ideally with a finance major, or commercial training with a concentration in accounting / auditing
- Professional experience in financial accounting or controlling is desirable
- Independent user skills in German and English
- Capacity for analytical thinking and a precise working method
- Enthusiasm for optimizing and digitalizing processes
- Flexibility: A hybrid work model with flexible working hours and 30 days of annual leave
