Onsemi is seeking a highly skilled Resident Applications Engineer to join our team in Kassel. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers during the development and ramp-up of our B6S power box.
Key Responsibilities:- Support customers in case of anomalies and inconsistencies between specifications and product performances.
- Participate in root cause investigations and provide analysis and problem-solving support.
- Coordinate returns and facilitate the development of solutions.
- Support sample construction and initial setups in the customer's VSC.
- Review and support processes, including press-fitting, welding, and evaluation of tolerance.
- Communicate anomalies directly to Onsemi and facilitate the development of solutions.
- Local contact person for quality issues, including storage, packaging, and quality agreements.
- BS/MS degree in Electronics.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Prior customer-facing role.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and German.
As a Resident Applications Engineer, you will be the connection point between Onsemi and our customers, providing technical expertise and support to ensure the successful development and ramp-up of our products.
