Bachelor/Master Thesis: Prototype System for Paint Inspection

This project aims to conduct experimental research on the correlation between the thickness of paint coatings and their optical characteristics, while also assessing the limits of feasibility. The outcome of this research will lead to the construction of a prototype system designed for paint evaluation. To achieve this, existing optical inspection technologies will be utilized where applicable. Resources include industrial cameras, multispectral imaging devices, and infrared cameras. The software analysis will be carried out using the XEIDANA software framework, with validation conducted in a laboratory setting on actual components or test samples through a series of experiments.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to natural sciences or engineering,
- Ability to work independently in a structured manner,
- Strong teamwork skills,
- Quick learner with a good grasp of concepts,
- Capable of meeting deadlines effectively,
- Familiarity with computer science and programming is advantageous.
