JUNIOR MECHATRONICS ENGINEER (M/F/D)

In the realm of modern machinery and systems, the role of a mechatronics engineer (m/f/d) is crucial. This profession integrates mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and information technology, making it both engaging and forward-thinking.

What to Expect During Your Training:

Throughout your foundational training, you will acquire essential skills pertinent to a mechatronics engineer (m/f/d). This encompasses the evaluation and measurement of electronic circuits, as well as the setup and operation of electrotechnical machinery and systems, which are managed through programmable components. You will also delve into IT hardware and software, requiring precision and attention to detail in the installation of complex machinery.

Key Areas of Focus During Training Include:

  • Fundamentals of metalworking
  • Basics of electrical engineering
  • Measurement and control technology
  • Quality assurance
  • Planning and management of work processes
  • Installation and testing of hardware and software components
  • Assembly and evaluation of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Programming of numerical controls and mechatronic systems

A Dual Approach: Theory and Practice

Your 3.5-year dual training program promises an exciting journey. The theoretical knowledge gained at a vocational institution will cover a range of topics, from material science fundamentals to the interpretation of electrical circuit diagrams and assembly schematics. At HDM, you will engage with innovative machinery and systems for industrial cocoa and chocolate production, which are constructed and successfully utilized worldwide.
