About the Role

TüV Süd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Services Professional to join our team in the UK. As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the renewable energy, oil and gas, and government sectors to achieve their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct life cycle assessments and calculate corporate and product carbon footprints for clients across various industries.
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies and solutions for clients, including energy audits, environmental product declarations, and low-carbon hydrogen certification.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects and services to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to sustainability and the energy sector.
Requirements
  • Good first degree (2:1 or 1st) in Environmental Science, science or related field.
  • Experience in conducting life cycle assessments and calculating carbon footprints, with a strong track record of delivering projects in a climate-related consulting position or in-house sustainability role.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks, including ISO 14044, ISO 14040, and relevant Product Category Rules.
  • Strong working knowledge of LCA software such as GaBi, OpenLCA or SimaPro.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a distributed, multi-disciplinary team environment.
