Your Role in Our Vision

We are seeking a Service Technician (f/m/x) to focus on troubleshooting and maintenance within our Business Unit Service.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Initiating your role as a Troubleshooter on D7-7.0 and D8-8.8, with plans to advance to SG10-10.0 / SG10-11.0.
  • Reporting status and risks to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Conducting scheduled service procedures on offshore wind turbines independently.
  • Diagnosing and resolving common, recurring, and significant component faults in electrical and mechanical systems of offshore turbines, where appropriately trained.
  • Providing on-the-job training and evaluating the competency of individuals assigned to troubleshooting tasks.
  • Executing unscheduled maintenance tasks as required.
  • Developing advanced troubleshooting skills on-site alongside qualified personnel.
  • Leading small teams, ensuring safety, competency, and productivity among Trainees, Maintenance Technicians, and Contractors.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, reporting technical and safety issues to relevant parties.
  • Adhering to safety protocols as mandated by company policy.
  • Participating in arrangements for remote assistance calls.

Qualifications for Success

A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving change are essential.

  • Proven experience as a Troubleshooter or a solid track record in a similar role.
  • Significant experience in the wind industry, preferably in offshore environments, covering all aspects of commissioning and service activities.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance on the DD platform.
  • Willingness to work offshore in shift patterns.
  • Openness to undergo Helicopter training and travel to wind turbine locations.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in multinational teams, demonstrating strong intercultural skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
