Übersicht

Effiziente IT-Systeme sind entscheidend für den reibungslosen Betrieb bei Amazon. Unsere IT-Support-Engineer arbeiten hinter den Kulissen daran, Probleme zu lösen und unsere Systeme zu verbessern, damit unser Betrieb optimal läuft. Dein Fokus liegt darauf, sicherzustellen, dass unsere IT-Infrastruktur den Anforderungen unseres globalen Geschäfts gewachsen ist. Gleichzeitig arbeitest Du mit der neuesten Technologie und lernst, wie wir das Warehouse-Umfeld der Zukunft entwickeln.

Deine Hauptaufgaben
  • Unterstützung von Endbenutzergeräten und der IT-Infrastruktur in Deinem Gebäude
  • Hilfe bei wesentlichen Netzwerkprojekten, beispielsweise den IT-Einrichtungen für neue Amazon-Gebäude
  • Vorschlagen neuer Prozesse, die den Einsatz von IT an den Amazon-Logistikzentren verbessern
  • Schulung und Mentoring von IT-Fachkräften
A day in the life

Ein typischer Arbeitstag bei Amazon ist geprägt von Flexibilität und Vielfalt. Du arbeitest vor Ort und besuchst mehrmals im Monat andere Betriebsstandorte in Deutschland und eventuell auch international. Als IT-Support-Engineer arbeitest Du mit Kollegen remote ebenso wie im Büro zusammen und unterstützt sie bei jeglichen Problemen. Du nutzt Dein Fachwissen, um den optimalen Betrieb unserer Plattformen sicherzustellen und setzt Projekte zur Wartung oder Verbesserung unserer IT-Infrastruktur um.

Unser Ops Tech Solutions Team (OTS-Teams) bietet allen Amazon-Betriebsstandorten weltweit laufenden Tech-Support. Die Wartung, Aufrüstung und der Schutz der IT-Infrastruktur und Endbenutzergeräte eines der größten Unternehmen der Welt erfordern die verschiedensten Fertigkeiten. Einige Teammitglieder sind Ingenieure, die bei der Schaffung und Umsetzung von Lösungen helfen. Andere übernehmen Managementrollen und agieren als Führungskräfte für unsere Kolleg:innen im Tech-Support, damit diese unsere Endbenutzer:innen besser unterstützen können.
