As a Azure Solutions Consultant , you will have the opportunity to enhance your career trajectory and expand your solution area expertise by spearheading digital technology transformation initiatives in collaboration with our Automotive Sector clients to achieve both Microsoft and client business objectives. You will lead the consulting sales pursuit team for Azure solution opportunities, leveraging the broader, multi-functional Industry Solutions Organization across the full spectrum of Microsoft Azure solutions and Industry portfolio. This role will also enable you to cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, influence cloud strategies, and act as a trusted advisor, engaging at the CXO level with business and technology decision-makers.

Responsibilities

The Microsoft Industry Solutions Azure Solutions Consultant is accountable for:

  • Exemplifying and demonstrating a customer and partner-centric approach through customer business outcomes utilizing solution area expertise.
  • Establishing a compelling vision with key decision-makers by fostering executive relationships to generate enthusiasm around Microsoft Industry Solutions' value and influence the strategic direction of the cloud.
  • Developing business cases and leading initiatives that require coordination of virtual teams to construct customer proposals. To substantiate the value of the solution, leverage available programs and offers, finalize the deal, and effectively displace competition.
  • Providing a significant point of view (POV) where Microsoft Industry Solutions can expedite consumption, aligned with solution area expertise into Account planning cycles.
  • Accelerating Cloud growth: Collaborating seamlessly with the broader account team, building and enhancing relationships across Microsoft teams to drive consumption through Microsoft Industry Solutions projects and programs.
  • Ensuring deal excellence: Advocating and adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies, focusing on strategic selling, maintaining pipeline integrity, ownership of opportunities (revenue and consumption) for Industry Solutions, continuous qualification, opportunity assessments, and close plan accountability.
  • Continuously enhancing sales expertise, learning, and evolving industry and solution knowledge to support clients and the broader Microsoft team while investing in personal development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in solution sales with subject matter expertise in Data & AI, Cloud Applications, and the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, or other public cloud platforms, including IaaS and PaaS technologies and their business impact.
  • Experience in solution/portfolio management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in both German and English is essential for this role. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages in various professional contexts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deals concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with clients and participate in industry events.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Industry sales experience in the Automotive Sector or related services track record.
  • Profound understanding of consulting, advisory, and sales methodologies.
