Position Overview
The role involves a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our Android Automotive applications.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new features and enhancements for current applications.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to discover and execute solutions for technical challenges.
- Collaborate with teams to sustain and improve existing Android Automotive applications.
- Guarantee compatibility of applications with the latest advancements in Android Automotive technology.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within existing applications.
- Produce clean, maintainable code optimized for high performance.
- Uphold code quality through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
- Participate in the comprehensive software development lifecycle, encompassing design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate third-party APIs and libraries effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing Android Automotive applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Android Automotive architecture and frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Kotlin and Java.
- Experience collaborating on large-scale projects with diverse teams.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, tools, testing, and version control (Git, GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, etc.).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong grasp of design patterns.
