Contribute to the Development of Safe Technology

As a Safety Consultant at FSQ Experts, you will play a crucial role in the development of safety-critical products for the automotive industry. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support the development of safety-relevant ADAS and automated driving solutions through product safety consulting and engineering.
  • Perform gap analyses, reviews, assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with normative requirements and industry standards.
  • Coach customers on how to develop and approve safety-critical products at the system, hardware, and software levels.
  • Apply your technical and soft skills in different roles on a case-by-case basis, including technical consulting, safety engineering, process development, moderation, and coaching.

Requirements
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a similar technical field.
  • Several years of professional experience in software or hardware development for embedded systems.
  • Professional experience in the field of ADAS and automated driving solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients in German and English.
  • Good knowledge of safety methods, including HARA, FTA, FME(D)A, DFA, and STPA.
  • Good knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO PAS 21448 (SOTIF), and ISO 21434.
  • Required soft skills and mindset:
  • Pragmatic, structured, communicative, and service-oriented, with a willingness to support and empower different types of customers.
  • Curious and willing to contribute to an expanding FSQ's knowledge base in areas such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
  • Self-organized with excellent project and time management skills, able to support different projects in parallel.
  • Business fluent in German and English (both at least level C1).
