Your Role

As a key member of a three-person team, you will oversee the architecture of our IIoT platform, moneo, which is deployed for both on-premises and cloud environments for our international clientele. moneo is built on a microservices architecture and is continuously enhanced with additional services.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a geographically distributed architecture team while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Designing and implementing advanced software architecture solutions for both on-premises and cloud applications.
  • Collaborating closely with product management, technical management, and development teams to align technical solutions with customer requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to agreed quality standards in partnership with the Code Quality department and development teams.
  • Conducting evaluations to identify the most suitable technologies and methodologies for our business objectives.
  • Addressing stakeholder requirements and ensuring effective communication across interfaces within the organization.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in a leadership position, understanding the significance and challenges that come with it.
  • Proven experience in developing software architectures, ideally having built a platform with a microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with the challenges posed by the duality of on-premises and cloud solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in both German and English, enabling seamless communication with our bilingual teams.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to various company locations.
