We are seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our E.ON SE team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing significant projects and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the E.ON group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage impactful projects throughout the entire sourcing lifecycle of E.ON's product and service categories in close partnership with the business.
- Formulate and execute sourcing optimization strategies to improve the efficiency of supply chain operations.
- Ensure project management is goal-oriented, taking ownership of content quality and the achievement of milestones and outcomes.
- Evaluate and refine sourcing methodologies and negotiation tactics in collaboration with negotiation specialists and relevant category teams.
- Design and structure targeted communication regarding sourcing optimization initiatives and decision-making frameworks for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; additional qualifications such as a PhD or MBA are welcomed.
- Extensive experience as a project manager in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, or a consulting background with hands-on expertise in strategic procurement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with advanced project management skills.
- A proactive approach to driving organizational change and exploring innovative solutions or methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in both English and German.
