Connecting Experts is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Specialist to join our team. As a leader in Defense Technology, we are looking for a talented individual to develop innovative hardware solutions for the defense sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test hardware systems and components to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure hardware solutions are reliable, robust, and compliant with defense regulations.
  • Verify hardware designs using analysis and simulations.
  • Provide technical expertise in areas such as signal processing, embedded systems, and electronic circuit design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware interacts seamlessly with other systems and software.
  • Participate in design reviews and support ongoing development programs.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to guarantee hardware performance and functionality.
  • Utilize debugging and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve hardware issues.
  • Maintain records of test findings, design procedures, and quality control activities.
  • Ensure all hardware designs comply with relevant security and defense regulations.
  • Assist with obtaining certifications and regulatory approvals as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other departments as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hardware technology and defense sector trends.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A graduate degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development, preferably in the defense industry.
  • Proven track record of successful hardware projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and electronic circuit design.
  • Working knowledge of testing equipment, simulation software, and CAD tools.
  • Familiarity with defense industry regulations and standards.
  • Security clearance or eligibility for one.
  • Proficiency in English and German languages.
