EMEA Talent Acquisition Specialist & Researcher (German Speaker)

Location: Remote position.

Employment Type: Contractual (4-6 months)

Position Overview: As a member of the Dover Talent Acquisition (TA) Centre of Excellence, the TA Specialist & Researcher will collaborate closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners to identify and source professional-level permanent candidates for various Dover-owned Operating Companies (OpCo's) in the region. This role does not involve direct customer management but requires participation in scheduled intake and bi-weekly meetings regarding supported positions. The position encompasses two main functions.

Administrative Support & Coordination

  • Assist with all candidate interview scheduling and the coordination and administration related to our hiring processes, utilizing Office 365 and Success Factors ATS.
  • Support the placement and maintenance of job postings across multiple platforms in the region.

Research & Sourcing

  • Additionally, you will provide research and sourcing assistance to our TA Partners on current openings or talent-related mapping and insights data gathering. Your sourcing efforts will primarily focus on the DACH region, with occasional support for other locations such as the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Sweden.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with an international mindset, seeking to gain further experience within an in-house Talent Acquisition function. There is potential for this role to evolve into a permanent position as a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist or Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Sourcing:

  • Support the TA COE team in sourcing professional-level permanent hires across the EMEA region, from Director to individual contributor levels, across various functions and industries, primarily in Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
  • Directly source both active and passive candidates through HRIS (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other platforms, while gathering referrals and networking across the EMEA region using translation tools.
  • Interpret and comprehend technical job specifications to effectively communicate job opportunities to prospective candidates. Typical roles include positions in Electro-Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and corporate functions such as Finance, HR, and Procurement. Depending on expertise, this may also encompass IT Hardware and Software fields.
  • Provide a range of sourcing insights and talent mapping information, utilizing tools such as LinkedIn/Indeed insights and interpreting market reports to support findings.

Coordination & Administration:

  • Assist the team with all candidate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates, the TA COE Partner, and key Operating Company (OpCo's) stakeholders involved in the interview process.
  • Coordinate and schedule complex candidate interviews with participants across multiple time zones, including support for US-based openings as needed.
  • Post job advertisements on various European job sites.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and administer interview activities through our applicant tracking system, O365 project folders, and requisition postings.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative and coordination support as required.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

  • Degree in a Language, Business-related field, or Engineering/Manufacturing.
  • Multi-lingual with proficient spoken and written skills in German and English.
  • 1-2 years of experience in scheduling and coordinating interview appointments across multiple time zones, preferably within a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Agency context.
  • 1-2 years of experience in researching or sourcing professional salaried individuals across various functions in Industrial, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications, including TEAMS, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards.
  • Experience processing vacancy and candidate data on a HRIS or ATS system such as Success Factors.
