**Job Summary**

As a Warehouse Handler at FedEx, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parcel sorting and warehouse facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • **Loading and Unloading Vehicles and Aircraft Containers**: Safely loading and unloading packages and freight from vehicles and aircraft containers, adhering to FedEx's high standards for safety and efficiency.
  • **Scanning and Sorting Parcel Shipments**: Accurately scanning and sorting parcel shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to our customers.
  • **Operating Forklifts**: Operating forklifts as needed to move packages and freight within the warehouse, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • **Conducting Security Checks**: Conducting security checks on air freight shipments as required, ensuring the integrity and security of our packages.

**Requirements**

  • **Strong Communication Skills**: Possessing excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, management, and customers.
  • **Language Proficiency**: Proficient in German and/or English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • **Organizational Skills**: Demonstrating strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • **Willingness to Learn**: Showing a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, technologies, and procedures.
  • **Teamwork**: Possessing the ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • **Physical Fitness**: Maintaining physical fitness to perform the demands of the job, including lifting up to 32kg.

**Work Schedule and Compensation**

As a Warehouse Handler, you will work a regular schedule from Monday to Friday, with hours between 05:00-09:00 or 18:00-22:00. Your compensation will be competitive, with additional benefits to support your overall well-being.
