YOUR ROLE - WHAT AWAITS YOU

Are you a sales and/or consulting professional specializing in software solutions, adept at nurturing strong relationships with clients and decision-makers in the financial services sector? If so, the Account Management team at adesso is the perfect fit for you. You will play a pivotal role in our company's success, providing advisory and facilitative support in exciting project environments within the banking sector – ranging from complex custom developments to large-scale projects.
In this context, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Establishing and developing your own client portfolio, with a focus on IT projects
  • Coordinating and independently managing as well as expanding key accounts
  • Emphasizing new client acquisition and the further development of major clients
  • Collaborating closely with adesso Business Consulting and Software Development teams
  • Planning and executing client-specific sales strategies
  • Continuously monitoring the banking market to identify potential themes, trends, and clients in the DACH region

YOUR SKILLS - WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • A successfully completed degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification with excellent academic performance – a focus on Business Administration, Finance, or Management is a plus
  • At least three years of professional experience in banking and/or consulting with a focus on the financial sector, emphasizing sales and advisory roles
  • Outstanding connections with clients and decision-makers, particularly in consulting services and software projects
  • In-depth industry knowledge related to the technologies and methodologies employed in IT projects within banks
  • Exceptional communication and networking skills
  • A personal network in investment banking, asset management, or private banking is desirable
  • Proficient communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
  • Sales talent with strong acquisition and closing abilities, high engagement, initiative, and team spirit
  • Willingness to travel as required by projects
