About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our global team at Blacklane, a leading provider of premium global chauffeur services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping our legal landscape and contributing to our accelerated growth path.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide trusted advice to our General Counsel and senior leadership team on a wide range of issues critical to our company's success.
  • Help develop and implement legal and compliance strategies as we scale up our business and prepare for potential future growth.
  • Ensure our compliance with laws and regulations, including managing regulatory relationships and overseeing regulatory compliance matters.
  • Advise on the legal and business implications of various corporate and commercial initiatives, including M&A deals, finance rounds, and other significant commercial activities.
  • Assist in implementing best practices for corporate governance, including setting up board processes and practices to comply with applicable listing standards.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced legal professional with a strong track record in a transactional environment. You will have:

Completed a German State Exam in Law with excellent results.Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience, ideally obtained in a well-regarded international law firm.Motivation and a passion for law, combined with a pragmatic work style and eagerness to progress.Interest in being a generalist, with the ability to take on projects relating to a wide variety of important legal matters.Ability to independently manage projects and negotiate related agreements.Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and convey legal facts clearly and simply.Fluency in English and German.
