Student Assistant in Business Analytics

Are you currently pursuing a degree in economics, business informatics, or a related field? If so, you have the chance to gain valuable experience in dynamic business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives, particularly within purchasing and inventory reporting. Become a vital part of our Sourcing Analytics Projects team and apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting for a minimum of six months.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the team in developing various reports and key performance indicators related to purchasing, including inventory management, contract compliance, and risk assessments.
- Participate in establishing knowledge management systems for purchasing-related applications.
- Help define, document, and enhance key performance indicators, ensuring their IBCS-compliant representation in reports and dashboards.
- Support daily operations, including testing activities, data validation, and correction tasks.
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a full-time program in economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, or a similar discipline (minimum of 3rd semester).
- Strong affinity for IT and numbers, coupled with effective communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP BI and VBA is a plus, but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Possess analytical and solution-oriented thinking abilities.
- Demonstrate an independent work ethic and quick adaptability.
- Proficient in German and business fluent in English, both written and spoken.
