Product Costing Specialist

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Costing Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in cost management and work closely with various departments to identify and realize economic potential across the entire product life cycle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Product Cost Calculation and Analysis: Prepare and analyze product cost calculations, including risk assessment and opportunity identification for manufacturing costs.
- Cooperation and Coordination: Collaborate with Bid Management to prepare offers and coordinate with involved departments and track deadlines.
- Cost Management and Optimization: Implement materials management and production analyses to identify potential savings and implement make-or-buy analyses.
- Results Management: Support operational results management in close cooperation with Operations Controlling and production departments.
- Controlling and System Maintenance: Maintain planned prices and monitor moving average values for stock orders using SAP, and further develop controlling instruments.
- Project Implementation: Co-responsible for projects such as design-to-cost, cost-down, and value analysis projects, as well as support for purchasing in preparing cost breakdowns and value analyses.
- Consulting and Coaching: Provide commercial consulting and sparring partner services for the operative production area and purchasing to realize cost and price optimizations.
**Requirements**
- Completed university studies in industrial engineering or comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in product costing/cost engineering.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Very good knowledge of Excel and SAP.
- Independent working style, self-motivation, and continuous willingness to learn.
- Good communication and presentation skills, especially with customers and authorities.
- Willingness for occasional business trips and flexibility.
