Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Aachen, Germany. As a key member of our systems engineering department, you will play a crucial role in supporting global project teams and contributing to the development of highly integrated mechatronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechatronic systems according to the V-Model in compliance with automotive standards.
  • Analyze system requirements on a multi-disciplinary level and define sub-systems and interfaces.
  • Coordinate with global expert teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Design and develop systems and system architectures.
  • Collaborate with global teams to integrate hydraulics, electronics, and software.
  • Support in defining the testing strategy and scope, and perform system and integration testing.
  • Work closely with customers and inter-company development teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and ability to create, interpret schematics and diagrams.
  • Able to navigate in CAD systems and understand FEA and CFD results.
  • Practical experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Solid experience in common development tools, such as Matlab and Simulink.
  • Familiarity with tools that manage requirements, such as Doors and Helix, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and German (both spoken and written).
