Head of Data Architecture & EngineeringOur data platform is the heart of our operations, driving insights that shape our business strategy and enhance the traveler experience. With massive event volumes, thousands of travel partners, and a wealth of third-party data, we are building a robust and scalable data ecosystem.
As Head of Data Architecture & Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will lead a team of talented engineers and architects, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, availability, and security.
Responsibilities:- Lead the Data Architecture & Engineering function, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement highly scalable data models, establishing a unified source of truth for Clear Ventures' data.
- Establish robust governance processes for data access control, reference data management, and master data stewardship.
- Manage our data pipelines and quality infrastructure, ensuring high accuracy and low latency for critical business operations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, understanding their data needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Champion best practices in data engineering, promoting innovation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex data architectures within cloud environments (e.g., GCP).
- Deep understanding of various data modeling approaches, including relational and non-relational databases.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data processing projects using technologies such as Apache Spark or similar.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
