About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team at NORMA Group. As a key member of our Test Lab team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and strategies to meet customer and internal requirements.
- Coordinate and prioritize test activities within the Test Lab team.
- Conduct functional tests and analyze results to ensure compliance with customer and internal specifications.
- Collaborate with EMEA Engineering and Test Lab teams to drive innovation and improvement.
- Ensure operational safety, process excellence, and calibration/maintenance of test equipment.
- Monitor test results and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage test budgets and costs to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Design and develop user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs using tools like PowerBI and PowerApps.
- Parameterize and test sensors for data acquisition and analysis purposes.
- Support the development of test software and hardware applications to achieve product and company goals.
- Ensure cloud compatibility of all data and technologies.
Requirements
- University degree in technical science (mechatronics engineer, IT engineer) with additional training an advantage.
- At least two years of detailed knowledge in automotive testing methods and techniques, including test result evaluation.
- Test-specific software experience beneficial.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, EtherCat, Profinet, IO-Link).
- Experience in creating user dashboards using PowerBI and PowerApps.
- In-depth understanding of sensor functionality and data transmission.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced and technical environment.
- Fluent German and English skills (C1 level, written and verbal) for effective communication in a German-language working environment.
- Good MS Office experience.
