Position Overview

Role: Test Engineer - Energy (f/m/d)
Company: A rapidly expanding organization with a workforce exceeding 1,000 employees.

Your Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for all battery testing activities.
  • Oversee the entire testing process, from requirements analysis to execution and data evaluation.
  • Conduct tests on both small and large-scale prototypes, providing critical insights to engineering teams.
  • Collaborate closely with integration engineers, particularly in battery development.
  • Design and manage test setups for various electrical and thermal performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards during testing of battery cells, modules, and packs.
  • Analyze test data and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support production planning and assist in the setup of end-of-line testing.
Your Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in battery testing at the cell, module, or pack level.
  • In-depth knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology is essential.
  • Experience with testing equipment, including data acquisition systems and battery test systems.
  • Advanced degree in electrical, power, or mechatronics engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in laboratory practices and testing methodologies.
  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with battery systems.
  • Familiarity with Battery Management Systems (BMS) and test bench software.
  • Strong analytical skills and a target-oriented work approach.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
