Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team of passionate and innovative professionals. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our hybrid (Cloud and Edge) IoT data infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Design and develop a robust and scalable data catalogue to effectively manage metadata, ensuring data governance, management, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform requirements engineering and translate business challenges into scalable data architectures.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current technologies, future trends, and innovative methods through continuous training, cross-industry networking, and conference attendance.
- Work closely with Data Science, Operations, and Business teams to ensure seamless data integration and analysis.
- Design and implement efficient storage layers to handle large amounts of sensor data, ensuring data integrity, speed, and scalability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in data engineering, preferably in big data, IoT, and sensor data management.
- Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art storage technologies and their productive use.
- Strong programming skills in Python or other programming languages.
- Experience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical skills and a quick grasp of complex concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of AI workloads and MLOps.
- Familiarity with stream processing technologies (Apache Flink, Spark, Storm, or Kafka).
- Good knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
