Cashier Assistant

Job Summary

Theisen's Home Farm Auto is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
• Process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a positive cash handling environment
• Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas
• Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain visual displays
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle customer transactions
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
