Sustainability Manager / Nachhaltigkeitsmanager (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to environmental laws and regulations
  • Serve as the environmental representative for multiple facilities
  • Oversee the implementation of an effective Environmental Management System (EMS)
  • Assess and manage emissions, waste, and overall environmental impact
  • Identify opportunities for sustainability enhancements
  • Conduct environmental assessments and sampling
  • Monitor and report on key environmental performance metrics
  • Investigate and resolve environmental incidents and breaches
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and local stakeholders
  • Lead environmental initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate with the environmental team based in the Netherlands

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in environmental management
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and management systems
  • Certifications such as Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) are advantageous
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a team
