We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the following role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to devise innovative solutions for intricate business challenges related to cruise ship technical operations.
  • Foster advancements in data analytics by investigating new analytical methodologies and utilizing state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Develop tools to effectively communicate significant findings and facilitate informed business decision-making.
  • Deliver visually engaging data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into actionable insights.
  • Assist in designing and executing data-driven strategies aimed at optimizing business processes and promoting growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
  • Over 1.5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional training in mechanical or marine engineering, naval architecture, or physics is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Python programming for various applications, including data manipulation, analysis, visualization, and potential integration with frameworks such as Qt or machine learning libraries.
  • Demonstrated success in data analytics, showcasing the ability to think creatively and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where tasks and priorities may shift rapidly.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and achieving results.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages such as VBA, C, C++, or C# is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Italian language is beneficial.
  • Proficient in English (the company's primary language).
