IT Internship Opportunity at AVATR

We are seeking an IT Intern to join our experienced and international AVATR IT team onsite in Munich. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to work on various IT projects, gain hands-on experience, and support our IT department's daily operations.

About the Role

As an IT Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software. You will also be involved in asset management, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing IT documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
  • Asset management and maintenance of IT-related hardware.
  • Support end-users with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Help manage IT documentation, including user guides and manuals.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve system efficiency and performance.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment for meetings and events.
  • Monitor and respond to IT service desk requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and workflows.
  • Ensure security and privacy protocols are followed.
  • Provide general support to the IT department as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems (including iPhone devices).
  • Understand and manage Active Directory integration, including domain joining and related rules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
