About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Financial Services team at KPMG-Germany. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to our clients in the CFO function, focusing on financial services, accounting, and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial services strategies for our clients, leveraging your expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects, including financial statement audits, internal control assessments, and financial planning and analysis.
  • Provide guidance on financial services matters, including financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends, applying your knowledge to help our clients navigate complex financial services issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects, with a strong understanding of financial services regulations and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
