About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our Investment Risk Management Team. As a Senior Risk Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a sound risk management framework to support our digital asset activities. This will involve developing and implementing robust risk monitoring mechanisms, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a framework to identify, assess, and mitigate fiduciary risks associated with digital asset products, including issuance, redemption, liquidity management, and market stability.
  • Develop and implement robust risk monitoring mechanisms to track key risk indicators and early warning signals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, finance, compliance, and legal, to implement effective risk management strategies and protocols.
  • Develop risk management trainings to educate stakeholders on risks associated with digital asset solutions.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry, with experience with stablecoin being a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology and digital/crypto asset markets, associated risks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex risks and develop pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Proven experience in managing big data and automating processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, with German being a plus.
