Role: R&D Project Manager
Type: Permanent Position – Location: Germany
Your Role in Our Success
In collaboration with the Product Development Manager, you will:
- Drive the creation of new products and enhance existing offerings in partnership with sales and technical management.
- Assist the purchasing department with technical inquiries related to sourcing new raw materials.
- Proactively identify new raw materials and innovative processing techniques.
- Oversee raw material testing (fibers/fabric) in production, including the approval process in coordination with the quality manager and technical management.
- Support sales teams with technical inquiries regarding the manufacturability of new products and optimization of current offerings.
- Assist sales during customer visits and product development discussions.
- Execute all other tasks associated with product development.
- Support technical management in optimizing plant processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Assist management in strategically aligning the product portfolio.
- Participate in industry trade shows.
Are You the Right Fit?
- You possess an academic background in a technical or engineering discipline (chemistry, engineering, materials specialization) coupled with experience in product development.
- You demonstrate a collaborative spirit, creativity, and the ability to analyze complex data.
- You have a keen interest in technical and scientific topics.
- You are fluent in English (advanced level).
- Familiarity with project management and Design of Experiment (DOE) techniques is a plus.
