Join Our Team as a Strategy and Operations Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Strategy and Operations department at Holtzbrinck Publishing Group in Munich / Stuttgart.

About the Role

As a Strategy and Operations Intern, you will work closely with our management team to develop market research and competitive analyses through internet research and special databases. You will present your results in Excel or PowerPoint and help us identify new market trends and advise on how to adapt to them proactively.

Responsibilities
  • Develop market research and competitive analyses through internet research and special databases
  • Presentation of results in Excel or PowerPoint
  • Identification of new market trends and advice on how to adapt to them proactively
  • Close cooperation with local management teams in Germany, England, and the US
  • Preparation of decision papers for the Executive and Supervisory board of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group
Requirements
  • Studying business administration, economics, or media sciences at an advanced stage of your bachelor's or master's degree
  • Ideal practical experience in the media industry, consulting, or strategy unit of a company
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, strong analytical skills, and creativity in finding solutions
  • Keen interest in new business models and growth strategies
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Fluency in German and English and very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
