Your Future Role:As a Cloud Network Engineer (m/f/d) for a prestigious client in the aerospace sector, you will be instrumental in enhancing our network infrastructure.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, implement, and sustain network systems for a hybrid, multi-cloud setup
  • Execute projects to ensure our network infrastructure is robust, well-maintained, and adheres to industry best practices for cloud services
  • Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Azure (or AWS) and comparable cloud platforms, focusing on network layer design, configuration, provisioning, and deployment
  • Possess a thorough understanding of networking technologies and vendors, including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing & Switching
  • Develop network services utilizing infrastructure as code to automate cloud network component delivery
  • Conduct feasibility studies, IT concepts, market analysis, and vendor assessments
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with infrastructure and application security
  • Ensure the reliability of the company’s network and cloud infrastructure through proactive monitoring and alerts
  • Hold operational accountability for our connectivity network systems
  • Create and maintain essential operational documentation for network infrastructure
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in network infrastructure design, implementation, and management
  • Familiarity with network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS
  • Extensive experience with Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix
  • Knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services
  • Experience with OT architectures and Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment
  • Proficiency in using Jira & Confluence is advantageous
  • Strong experience with public cloud providers (e.g., Azure and AWS) is highly valued
  • Practical automation experience with scripting/programming is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, NAT is beneficial
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and ITSM is appreciated
  • Customer-oriented and service-focused
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new IT technologies
  • Strong motivation to contribute to the development of organizational structures and processes
  • Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus
