Battery Energy Systems Engineer

Your Tasks
We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer (m/f/d) with a strong interest in energy storage systems. Your expertise in electrical designs will be key in driving our projects forward. Your ability to communicate effectively will support various tasks within the team.
Design and development of Belectric Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for utility-scale applications, including standalone systems and those integrated with photovoltaic (PV) systems. Conduct detailed engineering of BESS according to client specifications, including battery equipment, auxiliary systems, and control mechanisms. Provide technical support to the Procurement department concerning BESS supply contracts, including technical specifications and warranty conditions. Assist the Sales team with BESS proposals, including cost calculations and client meetings. Collaborate with Belectric Site Supervisors during the construction and commissioning phases of BESS projects. Support the System Design & Innovation department in the sizing and optimization of BESS.Your profile
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience in utility-scale energy generation projects, with a preference for candidates with knowledge of solar PV and energy storage systems. Essential: Comprehensive engineering knowledge in electrical storage and control systems. Proficient in MS Office applications. Strong command of the English language. A communicative team player (m/f/d) with a structured and independent working style. Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.Who we are
