Role Overview

As a Senior SAP Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of SAP applications, specifically focusing on the "SAP GTS" and "SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA" systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP software applications to support the end-to-end lifecycle of solutions in Trade Control, Chemical Compliance, Customer Management, and Preference Management.
  • Write high-quality code, conduct thorough testing, and resolve any issues to ensure software functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly solutions that meet client requirements.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, specifically with SAP GTS in Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management modules.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ABAP, ABAP-OO, SAP UI5, and Fiori Elements.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools including Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
