We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our Global Account Sales Team for Applied Materials Europe, responsible for managing various clients within the semiconductor sector.

Key Responsibilities as a Strategic Account Manager:

Act as the primary liaison between the company and the client, representing both parties in all sales-related activities. Assess client requirements and devise/execute intricate sales strategies. Engage with existing and prospective clients to showcase Applied's product and service offerings; facilitate customer demonstrations with product business group representatives. Articulate and present Applied Materials' product roadmaps and capabilities to clients, while also conveying the client's technological requirements to product business group representatives. Prepare pricing proposals; negotiate final pricing and submit necessary documentation to finalize orders. Follow up on accounts receivable and escalations as needed. Conduct follow-ups on accounts receivable. Ensure comprehensive coverage and documentation for all assigned clients. Maintain records of client visits, develop tailored action plans, and execute them promptly. Proactively update forecasts and fully utilize the company's digital tools, including SFDC, SAP, Overdrive, and others. Mentor and support junior team members to help them achieve personal and sales success. Commit to ongoing personal and professional development through all available training resources.

Education and Experience Requirements

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Significant experience in the semiconductor or related industries. A technical sales professional with extensive expertise in their field and a broad understanding of related disciplines. Ability to communicate complex concepts and negotiate effectively to adapt differing viewpoints. Capable of becoming a product specialist for at least one Applied Materials product. Knowledgeable in navigating business and regulatory challenges; able to recommend improvements in products, processes, or services. Experienced in leading projects with notable complexity and risk, developing strategies for successful execution. Proficient in problem-solving techniques to address unique and complex business challenges, demonstrating innovative thinking. Strong persuasive communication skills to convey intricate ideas, anticipate objections, and influence senior stakeholders. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional and multinational teams in a constructive and goal-oriented manner. Excellent networking and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes. Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
