Actuarial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematician/Actuary to support our Wealth Team in various locations. As a key member of Mercer Deutschland's Wealth division, you will focus on occupational pension provision for multinational corporations. Your expertise will be utilized to provide actuarial and administrative services, as well as develop innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to national and international companies on occupational pension provision, ensuring compliance with German tax and commercial law, and international accounting standards.
• Conducting actuarial calculations related to company pension obligations, including forecasting and analysis.
• Handling issues regarding tax and labor law in occupational pension provision, and advising clients on best practices.
• Preparing forecast calculations and other analyses to inform business decisions.
• Possibly contributing to client projects, such as restructurings, change of plan sponsors, and M&A.

Key requirements:

• Completed degree in (Business) Mathematics (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma).
• Experience in actuarial valuation of pension obligations according to German tax law, commercial law, and IFRS is desired.
• Completed or ongoing training as an Actuary (DAV, IVS) is desired.
• Excellent Excel skills and good knowledge of Word and Power Point are required.
• Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1) in both written and verbal communication.
