About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team at Utimaco as a Head of Quality Assurance and Testing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our QA team and ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of QA engineers responsible for independent end-to-end product testing and embedded Quality Assurance in our agile development teams.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that quality gates are established and adhered to for product releases.
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of quality-assuring actions for selected product lines.
  • Develop and deploy standards, methodologies, and frameworks for quality assurance and test automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to improve test plans and specifications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an agile environment with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of test automation and performance testing tools, as well as continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Desirable: experience with information security technologies and architectures, ISTQB certification, and knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
