We are seeking a new member for our Accounting & Tax team in Markranstädt near Leipzig. This position offers the potential for advancement into a Team Lead role as we expand our team in Germany.

  • Overseeing and managing the daily accounting functions of our two German entities (Skeleton Technologies GmbH & Skeleton Materials GmbH);
  • Preparing month-end financial closings;
  • Compiling annual reports and tax filings;
  • Analyzing financial data and summarizing financial positions;
  • Reporting to governmental bodies;
  • Liaising with state institutions, external partners, and internal stakeholders;
  • Engaging in external audits;
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to enhance and maintain internal controls.

You would be an ideal candidate if you meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant or Chief Accountant role.
  • Experience in production accounting is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient communication skills in English and German, as the working language is English.
  • Naturally organized, structured, systematic, and self-disciplined.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work remotely.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to our office location.
  • Experience with payroll processes is a plus.
